This is the tequila version of a raspberry lemon drop.  The anejo tequila creates an interesting effect with an extra zing ordinary vodka does not bring to the average flavored martini.  This cocktail takes a little patience for the layering effect, but it is definitely worth it.  Each sip takes you closer to the rich reward of succulent raspberries

2 ounces Dos Lunas Anejo Tequila

1 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

1/4 ounce Bar Syrup

Ice

1/2 ounce Chambord

3/4 ounce Bossa Nova Acai w/Raspberry Juice

Fresh Raspberries & Lemon Twist for Garnish

Combine Dos Lunas Anejo Tequila, lemon juice and bar syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.  Shake for 15 to 20 seconds.  Strain into a martini glass.  Next combine Chambord and Acai w/raspberry juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake to chill.  Very carefully and slowly, drizzle raspberry mixture straight down the center of the cocktail glass containing the tequila and lemon mixture so that the raspberry mixture settles to the bottom.  Place pick of fresh raspberries wrapped with lemon twist over the top of the martini glass.
