Long Island Spirits Eagerly Awaited Distillery Shoppe and LiV™ Vodka Sampling Room Opens
Located at the Beginning of Long Island’s Acclaimed Wine Trail
Jun 02, 2009 9:28 AM CDT-BAITING HOLLOW, N.Y.– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Long Island Spirits, Inc. announced today that it has opened up its brand new Distillery Shoppe and Sampling Room for samplings and sales of LiV Vodka and other distillery related merchandise. Long Island Spirits is one of only a handful of distilleries on the east coast that has the necessary licenses to be able to offer samplings and sales at their facility. The Distillery Shoppe and Sampling Room is located on the North Fork of Long Island at the beginning of Long Island’s acclaimed wine trail. Long Islands wine trail is a major regional attraction that hosts over 2 million visitors a year. The Shoppe is a dramatic space complete with a large deck on the second story of a completely renovated post and beam barn that is home to the Long Island Spirits Craft Distillery. Overlooking 100+ acres of picturesque potato fields and vineyards the Shoppe and Sampling Room also showcases windows that allow visitors to view the majestic 28 foot tall; dual copper rectification columns of the stills that the artisan distillers use to hand craft LiV Vodka. The Distillery Shoppe and Sampling Room will be open every day Monday through Thursday (11AM to 5PM) and Friday, Saturday and Sundays (11AM to 6PM). Tours of the Distillery production facility will be limited and available during the week by appointment only.
