V.G. Pom Cosmo
Van Gogh has created a terrific flavor with the addition of Pomegranate to their line of vodkas. No doubt about it there is sweetness involved somehow in the infusion process with this particular Van Gogh Vodka whether the Pomegranate flavor comes by it naturally or there is some sort of ‘add-in’ along the way. No matter, the base spirit comes through clean with the flavor true, intense and luscious.
V.G. Pom Cosmo – created by The Intoxicologist
2 ounces Van Gogh Pomegranate Vodka
1/2 ounce Hiram Walker Triple Sec
3/4 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 ounce Cranberry Juice
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Strain into a martini glass.
Whether the V.G. represents Van Gogh or ‘vastly gratifying’ this version of the classic Cosmopolitan gives deeper flavor for a richer feel. Add the traditional flamed orange peel garnish ala Dale DeGroff if you wish or simple lemon or lime peel. Either way, Van Gogh definitely creates artistry within the cocktail with this infused flavor.
