The Mrs. Claus Spice Cake Martini comes across sweet, but has great spice cake flavor. It’s thin like a cocktail usually is in when served straight up, but with lovely froth. To add substance and partially cut the sweet, add approximately 3/4 ounce to 1 ounce of half & half or heavy cream to the cocktail shaker. This drink could also be served over rocks in a goblet.
Mrs. Claus Spice Cake Martini
1-1/2 ounce Van Gogh Espresso or Double Espresso Vodka
1/2 ounce Goldschlager
1 ounce Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
1/2 ounce Butterscotch Schnapps
1/4 teaspoon Ground Allspice
Cinnamon Stick Garnish
Place liquid ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend and chill. (If adding half & half of heavy cream, shake thoroughly until nice and frothy.) Strain into martini glass or into goblet over fresh ice. Garnish with sprinkle of allspice and cinnamon stick to stir.
