Perhaps the Addington Highball would be ideal for warmer weather refreshment or cocktail party serve. This oldie but goodie recipe dates from the 1950’s or before. It’s an excellent and simple choice to serve to any ad man or for “Mad Men” themed watch parties.
Addington Highball
1-1/2 measure Sweet Vermouth
1-1/2 measure Dry Vermouth
2 measures Club Soda
Orange Twist Garnish
Place vermouth in mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill well. Strain into highball glass over fresh ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with orange peel.
