Try this – my fall favorite – before the apples are all gone!

    Ingredients:
    2 jigger bourbon
    3/4 jigger maple syrup
    1 jigger lemon juice
    1/2 egg white
    1 small tart apple
    cranberry bitters – optional

    Preparation:
peel and slice apple into chunks with the bar10der knife
muddle apple until most of juice is expressed with the bar10der muddler
add bourbon via the bar10der jigger
add maple syrup vai the bar10der jigger
ream lemon with the bar10der reamer and add lemon joice via bar10der jigger
add egg white (crack the egg with the bar10der knife if you’re really good!)

shake with ice (dry shake doesn’t seem necessary)
double strain (first via bar10der strainer) into a chilled cocktail glass

garnish with thin apple wheel sliced with the bar10der knife or apple peel ribbon via the bar10der channel knife

(optional – dash of cranberry bitters)

    enjoy!

I love this little tool! It’s great for the more complicated drinks, but I must say I prefer the simpler ones, like this great Caipiroska recipe that is so simple and tasty! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9li4a3ctsXA

i would use it for a Ti Punch-the national cocktail i martinique and one of my favourites which requires exact measuring:
half a shot of cane or bar syrup,
the shots of ‘Rum Agricole’ or any high quality white estate rum,
    a slice of lime,
    one ice cube
use the measuring shot glasses to pour syrup and rum together, use the knife to cut a slice off the side of a lime and squeeze into the mix,add one ice cube and wait until molten so the Ti Punch is just lightly cooler than room temperature, give it one last stir with the handy little spoon and voila!
