Affiliate Links DisclaimerCrystallized ginger is sometimes difficult to find locally. Williams Sonoma carried the product years ago during the holiday season. I’ve never found it there again. Stores that carry gourmet items might have it, but the easiest way is to order it online. Isn’t that the way it always is!

Amazon carries a handful of crystalized ginger products, but the one that is most similar to what I prefer to use is this Dried Crystallized Ginger. It’s flexible rather than hardened like some dried ginger. There is a nice sugar coating on it that heightens the spice of the ginger. It’s also super easy to stick a cocktail pick through it since it is not completely dried out. I’d say the consistency is comparable to a gummy worm.
