I enjoy a variety of drinks. i have a friend who is trying to provide bartending to a bar which usually has shots of only 2 ingredients. This is done for a variety of reasons. Do you have a list of simple 2 ingredient shots with nothing exotic?

I could not agree more about the root beer vodka, it is horrible! I bought a bottle for my wife because she loves root beer, but after mixing it with redbull and suffering through the self manufactured taste of robitussen, we were through with it. However, I don't quit that easily. After three weeks of this bottle taking up space on my shelf and the stubborn strain inside of me that screams Don't throw away the alcohol, I think that I have found a solution. After perusing the internet in desperation to find a rootbeer vodka recipe, it dawned on me out of the blue. A shot of whipped cream into the shaker along with a couple of oz of the root beer rotka and you have a somewhat palatable rootbeertini. Jake C.

I love these. My absolute, all-time ftvarioe drink is a "Paprika Cup" at a place here in Portland. It's vodka, whiskey, Pimm's, passion fruit puree, muddled ginger, topped with ginger ale and a paprika sugared rim. If you're ever in town, you must try it! :)

Oh tequila shots. They are so good but so bad. I know the night is going to start off wofulrndely but end really badly when there are tequila shots involved. WIthout fail.I love the idea of using them on some ribs though. you still get the fun without the fall.

Yeah BUT the MARTINI came from the name of the Vermouth, and that would be nothing but MARTINI AND ROSSI's Vermouth. Logic. I know that i wasn't THERE when IT haepnped but from a former professional service bar bartender from LONDON that's my opinion. I don't make Martinis with anything else. You want to use Gallo? You want Noilly Prat? You're payin' the bill, bud', so your tastes are the ones that count.

(my favorite color)someone named this drink after me because i am a local performer/entertainer. I thought it was kinda cool.it is serverd with a sugar rim and a cherry in a mitarni glass.

Not saying it's gronud-breaking, just that, hey, there's a dedicated list of classic cocktails but made with tequila. True, they have been appearing all over the city. I actually had the Anejo Old Fashioned at Westside Tavern a couple (?) of years ago. Just here it's a whole menu.
