I am dumbfounded at the fact that in the midst of all of these manhattan recipes, never even ONCE is it mentioned that a true manhattan is made with rye. [shakes head in disbelief]

I have used Evan Williams as my Bourbon of choice for a number of years. It is priced reasonably-but more importantly, I find it to have a good,robust taste,which makes it an excellent table-quality bourbon. Whether I drink it mixed with water,cola,egg nog ,or straight on the rocks,I am well satisfied with E.W. and plan to keep right on buying it.

This is a fantastic cocktail. 5 Stars! We used Breckenridge bourbon and dusted it with nutmeg for the garnish. Perfect for brunch all winter long! Thanks!
