Event Coverage / Travel
The Intoxicologist site only covers events Cheri Loughlin is in attendance at using original photography and tasting notes of cocktails and spirits where applicable. In the case of large events with many tasting rooms and parties, complete coverage is difficult to achieve in the allotted time of the event. This usually means coverage of the event takes place during the event and is also referenced for several months after the fact as posts and photos regarding specific cocktails and spirits of interest. Extended coverage of this nature means renewed interest in the event far into the future for consumers who may otherwise have never heard about it the first time around.
Requirements for travel to cover event
Event or company arranges and pays for the following:
· Airfare
· Hotel Expenses
· Meal Expenses
· Transportation to and from airport
· Transportation to and from all events
· Complimentary admission to all events
· $200 per day travel stipend
Coverage includes:
· Coverage of events on The Intoxicologist site. Content is at The Intoxicologist discretion.
· Photography taken by Cheri Loughlin. Examples: http://www.cheriloughlin.com/Events/
· Coverage through social media such as Facebook and Twitter during the event.
· Reference postings about the event months following.
