Happy Halloween: Caramel Apple Martini

Enjoy a fun filled Halloween!

1 part Apple Pie Liqueur

1 part Butterscotch Schnapps

2 parts Apple Juice

3/4 part Lime Juice

Maraschino Cherry Garnish – optional

Combine liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend & chill. Strain into chilled cocktail glass or strain into highball glass over fresh ice. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Blood Shot

Careful layering gives this shot a curiously creative look and feel. Great for spooky holidays like Halloween or upscale cocktail parties with appetizer service and bite size samplings. Bloody Mary brunch will never be the same!

1/2 measure Pepper Vodka

1/4 measure Lemon Juice

Dash Worcestershire Sauce

Layer liquids in shot glass in order given. Layer by slowly pouring liquids over back of bar spoon one on top of the next. Add dash of Worcestershire Sauce last. Alternative: Combine liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend. Strain into shot glass.

A Wicked Sip

The Serpent’s Tooth cocktail is best served to those slippery devils with sharp tongue and wicked spirit.  It is best savored with sordid tales of misdeeds and misconduct of the devious sort.  Serpent’s Tooth is sure to stir the spirit, sate the soul and mislead the faint of heart. Tread carefully.

1-1/2 ounce Irish Whiskey

1 ounce Sweet Vermouth

1/2 ounce Kummel*

1/2 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice

3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Combine liquids in mixing glass with ice. Stir until thoroughly chilled. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Sip and savor with slightly forked tongue and sly smile.

*Kummelliqueur is flavored with caraway, cumin and fennel.
