Wine Road Announces Facebook Promotion to Coincide with the Launch of its New Visitors Program, “Ticket to the Wine Road”
Media Release: To celebrate the summer solstice, the Wine Road is giving every new Facebook fan it gains between June 21 and June 26 a three-day “Ticket to the Wine Road” pass, good for substantial discounts and freebies
WHO: Wine Road Northern Sonoma County, an association of 152 wineries and 50 lodgings in northern Sonoma County
WHAT: To commemorate the summer solstice on June 21, the Wine Road will give each new Facebook fan it gains between June 21 and June 26 a three-day “Ticket to the Wine Road” pass ($50 retail value), good for significant discounts and savings when visiting Sonoma County.
“Ticket to the Wine Road” launches June 15 and entitles the holder to complimentary wine tasting, discounts on wine purchases, private barrel tastings with winemakers, and cave and vineyard tours at participating wineries. Guests at participating lodgings can enjoy discounts on room rates (10-15% off stay), complimentary breakfast, and in-room amenities such as a complimentary bottle of wine, cheese and dessert platters, and much more. The passes come in one-day and three-day increments and retail for $25 and $50, respectively.
