Kahlua Liqueur’s base spirit is made from Sugarcane Rum from Veracruz. It is ideal for creating coffee flavored liqueur. The spirit is thinner than expected considering the viscosity of Kahlua, but the coffee and mocha notes are definitely noticeable in the forefront in its initial taste.
Mark your calendars. This popular liqueur has its own holiday. February 27 is National Kahlua Day.
