Make Vodka Lavender Tincture
Make a soothing lavender tincture with vodka: Fill a jar with fresh lavender. Pack the jar full! Top with vodka and seal the jar. Place the jar in a sunny window for a few days to infuse. Allow the contents to macerate for several weeks if you like. Shake the jar every other day.
Strain the contents of jar (lavender and vodka) through cheesecloth, coffee filter or muslin. Squeeze the filter to get every last drop of tincture goodness. The vodka will no longer be clear, but will take on the color (and aroma) of the fresh lavender.
