Two years ago I made a ginger caramel apple martini at our Halloween party. Get that recipe here. Guests loved it so much I sent premixed bottles of the drink home with a few people. One guest even made off with the remaining ginger vodka. Since it just doesn’t feel like fall without something whiskey in the mix, I created a whiskey variation to the Bountiful Harvest drink.
Maple Whiskey Apple Pie
1 ounce Crown Royal Maple Whiskey
1 ounce Apple Spice Ginger Liqueur
2-3/4 ounce Cranberry Juice
1/4 ounce Butterscotch Schnapps
Maraschino Cherry or Lime Twist
Place all liquids in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. This can also be served on the rocks instead.
I went a little light on the whiskey for the party’s sake, but add another 1/2 ounce if that floats your boat. For party purposes, I multiplied the recipe to make batches and then poured the mixed drink into bottles. Guests were easily able to pour their drinks without measuring and mixing. Multiply each ingredient in the recipe by 10 for pitcher size.
