Bar10der Giveaway Winners and Recipes
Maple Apple Bourbon Sour – recipe submitted by Eric
2 jigger Bourbon
3/4 jigger Maple Syrup
1 jigger Lemon Juice
1/2 Egg White
1 Small Tart Apple
Cranberry Bitters – optional
Apple Wheel or Apple Peel Garnish
Peel and slice apple into chunks. Place apple chunks in bottom of mixing glass. Muddle apple until most of the juice is expressed. Add bourbon, maple syrup, lemon juice and lemon juice. Top with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a think apple wheel slice or ribbon of apple peel. Top with dash of cranberry bitters if desired.
Ginger Leaf – recipe submitted by Mike Pentony
2 jiggers Bourbon
1/2 jigger Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1/2 jigger Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 jigger Maple Syrup
1 dash Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel-Aged Bitters
1 Small Piece Fresh Ginger – skin removed
Remove skin from ginger and place in bottom of mixing glass. Add maple syrup. Muddle. Add bourbon, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and bitters. Top with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with fresh lemon twist.
La Poire – recipe submitted by Jacob Chaney
2 ounces Charbay Green Tea Vodka
1/2 ounce Perfect Puree Ginger
1-1/2 ounce Pear Shrub (Pear, Thyme, Pear Vinegar, Sugar)
1 ounce Lemon Juice
Dehydrated Gingered Pears
Place Vodka, ginger puree, pear shrub and lemon juice in cocktail shaker. Top with ice. Double strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with sliced gingered pears.
Ti Punch – recipe submitted by Armen Hovsepian
2 jiggers Rhum Agricole or White Rum
1/2 jigger Cane Sugar or Simple Syrup
Lime Slice – Squeezed
1 Ice Cube
Place rum and sweetener into rocks glass. Squeeze lime slice into drink. Add ice cube. Stir until molten so Ti Punch is just slightly cooler than room temperature. Give mixture stir.
Spiced Pear – recipe submitted by David Cooke
1 ounce Spiced Rum
1/2 ounce Cinnamon Schnapps
1/4 ounce Pear Puree
1/2 ounce Pressed Apple Juice
2 Pieced Candied Ginger Garnish
Combine liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with candied ginger.
