The Between the Sheets recipe adds one additional ingredient to the Sidecar classic cocktail. This recipe uses Benedictine as an additional sweetener, lessening the need for sugared rim as called for in the Sidecar.
The aroma in this cocktail is spectacular, but even more so with flamed orange peel. Between the Sheets is light yet warming in the afterglow. I like to use Hennessy cognac for rich, decadent flavor. It is a terrific accompaniment to Cointreau.
If you love the classic Sidecar, then you will most like find Between the Sheets equally lovable.
