Remember those terrific little chocolate Mexican Truffle jello shots I wrote about earlier in the year? Well, today I am going to show you the cocktail version of those bite-sized packages of chocolate goodness. Pull up a bar stool and prepare your glass! You know you deserve a little indulgence.
The Chocolate Snowflake Martini takes the wonderful flavor of the Mexican Truffle gelatin shot and brings it back to liquid form. The cocktail version is creamy with chocolaty nut flavors and terrific spicy cinnamon aroma. It makes an excellent liquid dessert choice for chocolate and coffee lovers.
Chocolate Snowflake Martini Recipe
Chocolate Snowflake Martini – recipe by Mixologist Cheri Loughlin, The Intoxicologist
1 ounce Camarena Reposado Tequila
1/2 ounce Dark Crème de Cacao
1/2 ounce Coffee Liqueur
1/2 ounce Hazelnut Liqueur
1-1/2 ounce Heavy Cream
Cinnamon Dust Garnish
Place liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 to 20 seconds until chilled and frothy. Strain into chilled martini glass. Dust with cinnamon powder.
