Spiced Coffee Mixed Spices

Sip this spiced coffee a variety of ways; with or without alcohol, with the sweetener of your choice or go all out with the fully loaded version. If you love creamy, sweetened and garnished coffee then this is for you. Spiced Coffee

2 heaping tablespoons Ground Coffee

1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

10 Whole Cloves

1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon Dried Orange Peel or Fresh Orange Zest

3 cups water

Place spice and coffee mixture in automatic coffee maker basket with filter. Place 3 cups water in coffee maker. Brew. Makes 2 to 3 cups depending on coffee mug size.

Spiked Black Spiced Coffee

Dress it up with a little spiced rum; the spicier the better.

Black Spiced Coffee

1 ounce Spiced Rum

Brewed Spiced Coffee

Place rum in heat proof mug. Top with spiced coffee.

Sweetened Spiced Coffee

1 ounce Spiced Rum

1 tablespoon Honey

Brewed Spiced Coffee

Place rum and honey in heat proof mug. Top with spiced coffee. Stir.

Creamy Privateer’s Spiced Coffee

Go full-steam ahead with this creamy variation using warm coconut milk, whipped cream, shredded coconut and spice. Yum!

Privateer’s Spiced Coffee – recipe by Cheri Loughlin

1 ounce Spiced Rum

1 tablespoon Honey

2 ounces Coconut Milk – heated

Brewed Spiced Coffee

Whipped Cream

Shredded Coconut

Nutmeg or Allspice

Place rum and honey in heat proof mug. Top with brewed spiced coffee. Stir in heated coconut milk. Top with whipped cream, shredded coconut and sprinkle with nutmeg or allspice.
