Brugal Anejo Rum Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fisherman’s dock. No burn.

Tasted Neat: A lot of burn. Tastes of salty sea air inside a fisherman’s dock. Faint fish. Burnt molasses. Mineral deposit.

Mouth Feel: Very thin

Quite honestly I don’t care for this at all. All I can think of to make with this is to drown it in cola to mask the fishy taste.

Brugal Splash

1 ounce Brugal Anejo Rum

1-1/2 ounce Pineapple Juice

Splash Lemon Lime Soda

Build liquids in large rocks glass over fresh ice.

Caribbean Kiss

1-1/2 ounce Brugal Anejo Rum

1/2 ounce Amaretto

1 ounce Simple Syrup

1 ounce Pineapple Juice

Maraschino Cherry Garnish

Combine liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to blend and chill. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

    I haven’t tried this one yet, since I didn’t seen one in my local store neither. But it sounds and looks good. Thanks for the recipes :)
