Drink up! Summer’s almost gone, but the drinks are still flowing. So soak up the sun while it lasts and enjoy a few refreshing frozen drinks. These fresh, fruity and oh, so easy drinks are just the ticket to keep the good times rolling.
If you don’t have a blender handy, exchange fresh fruits for their equivalent juices. Shake to mix the drinks and pour over a glassful of crushed ice.
Frozen Lemonade
2 ounces Vodka
4 ounces Lemonade
8 ounces Ice
Lemon Slice
Lemon Wedge & Sugar
Rim glass with lemon wedge. Dip into sugar. Set aside. Place remaining ingredients (except lemon slice) into a blender. Blend until completely smooth. Pour sugar rimmed glass. Garnish with lemon slice.

Bossa Nova – Sonesta Beach Hotel, Florida
1 ounce Light Rum
1 ounce Galliano Liqueur
1/4 ounce Apricot Brandy
8 ounces Fresh or Frozen Pineapple – diced
4 ounces Fresh or Frozen Apricots – diced
2 ounces Lemon Sorbet
Dried Pineapple Slice
Place all ingredients (except dried pineapple slice) in blender. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into a pilsner glass or tall decorative glass. Garnish with dried pineapple slice if desired.
Frozen Sidecar
1-1/2 ounce Cognac
1 ounce Triple Sec
2 scoops Lemon Sorbet
Lemon Slice
Lemon Wedge & Sugar
Rim glass with lemon wedge. Dip into sugar. Set aside. Place remaining ingredients (except lemon slice) into blender. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into sugar rimmed glass.
Blue Lagoon Smoothie
1-1/2 ounce Vodka
1/2 ounce Blue Curacao
Several dashes Green Chartreuse
12 ounces Fresh or Frozen Pineapple – diced
Pineapple Wedge
Place all ingredients (except pineapple wedge) into a blender. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into chilled cocktail glass or wine goblet. Garnish with pineapple wedge.
Singapore Sling Smoothie
1 ounce Gin
1/2 ounce Heering Cherry Liqueur
1/4 ounce Cointreau Orange Liqueur
1/4 ounce Benedictine Liqueur
1/2 teaspoon Grenadine
12 ounces Fresh or Frozen Pineapple – diced
2 ounces Lemon Sorbet
Pineapple Slice & Cherry
Place all ingredients (except pineapple slice) into a blender. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into a tall decorative glass. Garnish with pineapple slice and cherry.
Don’t forget to stay hydrated while soaking up the sun. A refreshing glass of cucumber water between drinks will surely do the trick.
