Pisco Sour Seduces the Senses

Pisco Sour classic cocktail recipe
Pisco Sour

Though the Pisco Sour has the reputation for placing one under the table for its rather strong spirited influence when consumed in more than moderate doses, it comes across rather lightly on the tongue.  Rather deceiving if one lets their guard down.  Possibly the fluffy foam floating deceptively across the top of the cocktail with airy innocence lures one in.  It could be the gentle sweetness with slight tartness around the edges.  Whatever the source of enticement, this deviously delicious cocktail teases with temptingly delightful enchantment.  A definite must try.

Pisco Sour Classic Cocktail Recipe

Pisco Sour

2 ounces Pisco

1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice

1/2 ounce Simple Syrup

1 Fresh Egg White

2 Dashes Classic Bitters

Lime Twist Garnish

Place Pisco, lime juice, simple syrup and egg white in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously to blend and chill liquids. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. A light foamy head should form over the top of the cocktail. Add two dashes classic bitters. Garnish with thin lime twist.
