The Alabama Slammer has a long standing history as a long drink, possibly created in the latter half of 1970. It was most popular with the college crowd in the 1980’s.

Alabama Slammer Shot

1/2 ounce Southern Comfort

1/2 ounce Amaretto Liqueur

1/2 ounce Sloe Gin

1/4 ounce Orange Juice

Combine liquids in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a shot glass.
