The Intoxicologist

Throughout the month of October The Intoxicologist site and National Cocktails Examiner page features some of the most ghoulish, ghastly and eerily creepy drink recipes from around the spirit world for your sipping pleasure.  Each cocktail plays upon the Halloween theme by name of the drink recipe or by striking the mood of the sinister season by dressing the drink with garnishes such as spiders and bloody vampire teeth.  Several favorite spirits have been chosen to create the supernatural concoctions below: Three Olives Bubble Vodka, Grey Goose Vodka, Conjure Cognac, Death’s Door Spirits, SKYY Spirits and Lucid Absinthe to name a few.  The Halloween Drink Recipe & Party Idea Guide will be updated frequently, so check back often for the most bone chilling Halloween cocktails for your paranormal party this season. 

Violet Beauregarde – Intoxicologist adaptation

Original version found on the Van Gogh Vodka website

1-1/2 part Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka

1/4 part Chambord

1/4 part Fresh Lemon Juice

Skewered Blueberries Garnish

Place liquid ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake to blend and chill.  Strain into a martini glass.  Garnish with Halloween pick with skewered blueberries.
